This site hosts 2,400,820 public utility records. The statewide view displays 8,452 records, then loads all hosted records for a smaller map area. Missing feeder IDs, voltage, dates, and capacity stay unknown.
Utility reports
The map has 10 reports and one withdrawn record. We reviewed 271 New Jersey rows in the October 2026 PJM M-3 workbook: 25 ACE, 182 JCP&L, and 64 PSEG. The workbook has no RECO rows. We excluded equipment replacement, reliability, customer service, and other work that was not a capacity problem.
PSE&G
Overload and demand reports from the 2024 local plan and October 2026 supplemental-project filing. Each status uses the date in its filing. Public filings may not show the current condition.
Open planning source ↗ACE
October 2026 Penns Grove new-demand filing. The withdrawn Cumberland request is history only. The demand request does not prescribe storage or identify a site that can serve it.
Open planning source ↗JCP&L
October 2026 M-3 tracker reports for Branchville to Newton and the Lakewood area. The Branchville record describes overloads while storage facilities charge. It does not call for more storage.
Open planning source ↗RECO
September 2026 O&R planning assumptions and the current non-wires alternatives page reviewed. We have not identified a New Jersey capacity problem in the O&R sources reviewed.
Open planning source ↗Report markers use approximate area coordinates and retain the source units. MVA is not converted to battery MW. Export capacity and grid need are separate. A report marker does not identify a feeder, customer site, project value, or export rights.
Address and utility matching
The lookup checks the address against the NJGIS state boundary and the NJDEP electric-utility territory map. It searches records for the matched investor-owned utility. Municipal, cooperative, and unpublished territories return an unavailable result.

Distance and feeder match
The result uses the nearest utility point or line. It rejects records more than three miles away. Distance does not identify the serving feeder.
Capacity result
Capacity above request means the reported value is at least 150% of proposed export. Check with utility means the value is between 100% and 150%, or the source is old or undated. Below request means reported capacity is lower than proposed export. No capacity data means the source has no usable value. EIA and PJM project values are not subtracted from utility capacity.
Estimated review level
The review level uses New Jersey Board of Public Utilities amendments adopted January 5, 2026. Level 1 can apply when inverter nameplate is at most 50 kW AC and export is at most 25 kW AC. Level 2 covers certified projects with export up to 2 MW AC. Level 3 covers larger projects and projects that do not pass an earlier path. Equipment certification, utility screens, and other eligibility rules still apply.

Federal project context
The EIA layer shows 458 New Jersey plants from EIA-860 2025. Feeder connections are unknown. The PJM table contains 1,307 New Jersey queue records with project, county, status, transmission owner, fuel, and MW fields. PJM does not provide complete reusable public coordinates, so those records stay off the map.

Download and map display
The data was downloaded October 26, 2026. Dense map views display a spread of utility records and show more as the view narrows. Address lookup searches all hosted records near the site. Place labels use OpenStreetMap.
Outside this version
This version does not include network versus radial analysis, serving-feeder confirmation, utility queue reservations, or interconnection costs. A formal utility application is required.
